Interstate 28 (character)

Interstate 28 (I-28) is a minor character in Intertropolis & Routeville. He is a male Interstate Highway shield who is a real-estate agent and a crotchety landlord of Interstate 48 and U.S. Route 86. He first appeared in "Houses & Condos".

Personality[]

Interstate 28 is a crotchety, mean, spoiled real-estate agent and landlord of Interstate 48 and U.S. Route 86.

In "Houses & Condos", he was about to sue I-48 and US 86 personally for almost killing him by running him over with their car, causing his left leg to break and his right leg to become numb, until I-48 begged him to not sue them and help them find a home.

In "The Main Highways", I-28 was forced to drive US 86 to Downtown Routeville, angry with exasperation because he does not like Routeville, the U.S. Route side of Highway City, the state of Utah, and he hates driving people places. Later, I-28 charges US 86 $225 for forcing to drive him to too many places, causing the gas tank in his Jeep to become almost empty. I-48 and US 86 are laughing out loud while trying to encourage I-28 to try going to anger management class.

In "Jurisdiction 4886", it is revealed that I-28 is a misanthrope as he said at the courtroom during a trial that he hates people, which includes the ones that surrounds him, including Judge Interstate 200, when I-28 is about to sue I-48 and US 86 for no apparent reason. I-95 serves as a defending representation of I-48 and US 86, who at some point of the trial, she feels suspicions for I-28's hatred against people, and it may be the only reason why he is suing her friends for no reason at all. To help I-48 and US 86, I-95 try to make I-28 confess he is only doing the suing because he hates everyone by calling the Main Interstate Highways telling them to vandalize his Jeep, making a stronger temptation to do so and later confesses, making I-48 and US 86 proven innocent. I-28, guilty, is arrested for setting up a false lawsuit, serving a 30-day sentence in jail.

In the book The Misanthropic Interstate 28, it is revealed that the only reason why he is grouchy and hates people is because of the loss of his family and friends during a tornado outbreak damage in Oklahoma.
