This is a list of characters seen in Intertropolis & Routeville.

Main characters

Interstate 48 and U.S. Route 86 are the two main characters of Intertropolis & Routeville seen in most episodes.

	Interstate 48	A female Interstate Highway shield who is close best friends with U.S. Route 86. She is very good at coming up with her and US 86's plans, but sometimes it doesn't work the way she thought.
	U.S. Route 86	A male U.S. Highway shield who is close best friends with Interstate 48. He always suggests I-48 to come up with some different plans. He is also a fan of many celebrities and athletes.

Supporting characters

Interstate 21, Interstate 23, Interstate 248, U.S. Route 47, and U.S. Route 389 are the five supporting characters of Intertropolis & Routeville seen in some episodes but not too often.

	Interstate 21	A female Interstate Highway shield who is the younger sister of Interstate 23, the daughter of Interstate 248, and the princess of Intertropolis. She is a little bratty to her brother I-23 as the Interstate 23 highway travels through Routeville.
	Interstate 23	A male Interstate Highway shield who is the older brother of Interstate 21, the son of Interstate 248, and the prince of Intertropolis. He is mainly jealous of I-21 as the Interstate 21 highway travels through Intertropolis.
	Interstate 248	A female Interstate Highway shield who is the mother of Interstate 21 and Interstate 23, and the love interest of U.S. Route 389, She is "Queen of Highway City".
	U.S. Route 47	A female U.S. Highway shield who is the daughter of U.S. Route 389 and the princess of Routeville. She is friends with Interstate 21 and Interstate 23.
	U.S. Route 389	A male U.S. Highway shield who is the father of U.S. Route 47, and the love interest of Interstate 248. He is "King of Highway City".

Recurring characters (Interstates)

The recurring characters of the Interstates lives in the Main Highway Lounge of Intertropolis. Most of their numbers end with a "0" or a "5", except for Interstate 1 and Interstate 101, who are also considered main Interstate Highways. They have different personalities.

	Interstate 30	A male Interstate Highway shield who likes being cool and is very calm.
	Interstate 35	A male Interstate Highway shield who has gothicism and does not have a great experience in loving life and joy.
	Interstate 40	A female Interstate Highway shield who loves to be sarcastic.
	Interstate 45	A female Interstate Highway shield who loves dreaming, daydreaming, and using her imagination.
	Interstate 50	A male Interstate Highway shield who is very artistic and very creative.
	Interstate 55	A male Interstate Highway shield who is very athletic, strong, and loves participating in any type of sports.
	Interstate 60	A female Interstate Highway shield who never lies and is very good at being honest.
	Interstate 65	A female Interstate Highway shield who is a musician, loves all kinds of music, and is a huge fan of a musical band called the New England Interstates (I-89, I-91, and I-93).
	Interstate 70	A male Interstate Highway shield who likes to dance, do choreography, and loves to come up with his very own dance moves like "The Cristionian".
	Interstate 75	A male Interstate Highway shield who is a stand-up comedian and loves comedy, pranking people, being funny, and telling jokes.
	Interstate 80	A male Interstate Highway shield who loves to eat food and drink beverage.
	Interstate 85	A male Interstate Highway shield who is dimwitted, not very smart, and always make mistakes.
	Interstate 90	A female Interstate Highway shield who is a vegan, likes being clean, and staying healthy.
	Interstate 95	A female Interstate Highway shield who is bossy, self-proclaimed, most commanding, and loves social media.
	Interstate 100	A male Interstate Highway shield who is the leader of the Main Interstate Highway signs.
	Interstate 101	A female Interstate Highway shield who loves traveling and is good at reading maps, signs and directions.

Recurring characters (U.S. Routes)

The recurring characters of the U.S. Routes lives in the Main Highway Lounge of Routeville. Most of their numbers end with a "0" or a "1", except for U.S. Route 2, who is also considered a main U.S. Highway. Like the Interstates, they have different personalities.

	Interstate 28	A male Interstate Highway shield who is a real estate agent in Intertropolis and I-48 and US 86's crochety landlord.
	Interstate 31	A male Interstate Highway shield who is one of the Twinterstate twin brothers, one of the richest residents of Intertropolis, along with the other three: Interstate 32 (I-32), Interstate 33 (I-33), and Interstate 34 (I-34). He is the youngest of the Twinterstates and has a childish personality aside from his young adult age.
	Interstate 32	A male Interstate Highway shield who is one of the Twinterstate twin brothers, one of the richest residents of Intertropolis, along with the other three: Interstate 31 (I-31), Interstate 33 (I-33), and Interstate 34 (I-34). He is the second youngest of the Twinterstates after I-31 and has an obsession among fashion, design and modeling.
	Interstate 33	A male Interstate Highway shield who is one of the Twinterstate twin brothers, one of the richest residents of Intertropolis, along with the other three: Interstate 31 (I-31), Interstate 32 (I-32), and Interstate 34 (I-34). He is the second oldest of the Twinterstates after I-34 and is interested in the career of filmmaking, animation, cartoons and TV producing.
	Interstate 34	A male Interstate Highway shield who is one of the Twinterstate twin brothers, one of the richest residents of Intertropolis, along with the other three: Interstate 31 (I-31), Interstate 32 (I-32), and Interstate 33 (I-33). He is the oldest of the Twinterstates who is the C.E.O. and founder of Twinterstate Brothers, Inc. and loves going to parties.
	Officer Interstate 38	A male Interstate Highway shield who is one of the police officers from the Highway City Police Department of Intertropolis.
	Interstate 44	A female Interstate Highway shield who is a meteorologist at KHWY News.
	Interstate 47	A female Interstate Highway shield who is a traveling news reporter for KHWY News in Highway City. She announces the news about whatever is/are happening in Intertropolis, Routeville, and their surrounding areas.
	Interstate 53	A male Interstate Highway shield who is a minor friend of I-48 and US 86 at the Highway City Fair.
	Interstate 89	A male Interstate Highway shield who is the leader and head member of a musical band the New England Interstates (NEI). He is the only male member of the NEI and he plays with Interstate 91 (I-91) and Interstate 93 (I-93), who are females. I-89's instrument is his guitar and his voice.
	Interstate 91	A female Interstate Highway shield who is one of the three members of a musical band the New England Interstates (NEI), with Interstate 89 (I-89) and Interstate 93 (I-93). I-91's instrument is her piano and her voice.
	Interstate 93	A female Interstate Highway shield who is one of the three members of a musical band the New England Interstates (NEI), with Interstate 89 (I-89) and Interstate 91 (I-91). I-93's instrument is her drums, her cymbals, and her voice.
	Interstate 123	A female Interstate Highway shield who is a manager of the New England Interstates.
	Interstate 405	A female California-style Interstate Highway shield who is I-605's girlfriend.
	Interstate 495 the Majesty	A female Interstate Highway shield who is the First Lady of the United States.

US 3's instrument is his French horn and his voice. He is the competitive counterpart of Interstate 93 (I-93) of the New England Interstates (NEI).
	U.S. Route 5	A male U.S. Highway shield who is one of the three members of a musical band the New England U.S. Routes (NEUSR), with U.S. Route 7 (US 7) and U.S. Route 3 (US 3). US 5's instrument is his tambourines and his voice. He is the competitive counterpart of Interstate 91 (I-91) of the New England Interstates (NEI).
	U.S. Route 7	A female U.S. Highway shield who is the leader and head member of a musical band the New England U.S. Routes (NEUSR). She is the only female member of the NEUSR and she plays with U.S. Route 5 (US 5) and U.S. Route 3 (US 3), who are males. US 7's instrument is her harp and her voice. She is the competitive counterpart of Interstate 89 (I-89), the leader and head member of the New England Interstates (NEI).
